We were pleased to hear that the South Ruislip Residents Association support us in our aim to have a restriction removed from an approach to the Old Dairy site.
We cycled this route on the secound Tour de Hillingdon, and being responsible cyclists, obeyed the sign and wheeled our bikes for the small section of pavement between Long Drive/Station Approach and Arla Place. The busy road past South Ruislip Station can be quite intimidating, so being able to get off just past the Middlesex Arms and into the Old Dairy site for a rest stop or to use the many facilities is very welcome.
We can now take this to the next stage in asking for the sign to be removed and a shared footpath and cycle path sign to be put in its place.
