Join us for a short ride of about 7 km round central London. Jess will be one of the team of mainly women marshals to keep everyone safe;  the route is on some busy roads and some blissfully quiet areas. This ride is for women and their allies; children are welcome but remain the responsibility of their carers.

We will set off at 1200 from the National Theatre on the Southbank

Take a bike lock in case you want to go exploring afterwards, pack a picnic for the end of the ride, dress for Freedom to Ride, design a banner, be as colourful as you like.

What do we want ?

Freedom to Ride !

More details here: lcc-womens-network-freedom-ride

From Hillingdon you can take your bike on the train to Central London or grab a hire bike. Check TfL for status updates.
Bikes are allowed on the Elizabeth Line, Metropolitan Line or Chiltern Line, but not the Central or Piccadilly Lines. Most Elizabeth Line stations have lifts in central London. On the Met, you are advised to use Kings Cross and Farringdon, as these have lifts.

You can use a cycle routing website or app such as komoot to plot your preferred route. It is much much easier to cycle in central London than in Hillingdon.

These are real fun rides. See you there!
