The London Cycling Campaign (LCC) now has an action for our local group, Hillingdon Cycling Campaign, to get its teeth into!

Given that local elections are to be held in May, LCC is asking local political leaders to make a simple pledge:

if elected, build a safe cycle network in the borough

At the end of this month, candidates in Hillingdon will be out campaigning for your votes.

This is our opportunity to put safe cycling for people of all ages and abilities on the agenda!

Transport for London has already identified the routes that will have the greatest impact in Hillingdon and will provide funding to build them. We just need as many people as possible to let the leaders know that this issue is important to them.

You can play your own part by emailing the candidates using the details on the the following page which will become active on March 19th:

Please encourage any contacts not on our mailing list to do so as well. Whilst you’re at it, get them to join the mailing list too!

We’ll also be flyering local cyclists at key locations around the borough and would love you to join us.  If you’re interested please contact us by email at hillingdon@lcc.org.uk
