A Ruislip resident is planning to go the extra (187) mile(s) for charity.

Kate Bool, who works for a charity protecting vulnerable children is going to take on a challenge to ride through a part of South India starting on the 25th October and completing the route 4 days later. She will cycle from Mysore through Coorg’s coffee estates and the Western Ghats, past Kabini and Nagarhole National Parks, and on to Bengaluru.
Every pound raised will support the British Asian Trust’s work protecting children across South Asia from violence, abuse, trafficking and exploitation, helping give them a safer, brighter future.
We wish Kate every success on her ride, if you can spare a few pounds to sponsor her, please see the details on this page.
Thank you so much for sharing my story, Hardip. I would be delighted to return from the ride and connect with the community to share my experience.
This ride aims to raise vital funds for South Asia’s most vulnerable children and young people, supporting them through some of their darkest hours – whether that be facing the threat of child marriage, forced labour, substance abuse or trafficking.
The British Asian Trust has been working in these areas for 20 years, reaching 18.8 million people, under the patronage of King Charles III, and it is thanks to the generosity of people like you that we are making life changing impact across the region.
Thank you again.
Look forward to hearing about your trip!
