In an unwelcome but not unsurprising report from campaign group Healthy Streets, Hillingdon has again come 32nd in London on the 7th Healthy Streets Scorecard measure for 2025.

Only the London Borough of Bexley comes below Hillingdon in the table. Our neighbouring boroughs of Ealing and Hounslow are comfortably mid-table in 15th and 19th place. Harrow falls from 26th place to 28th.
The Healthy Streets Scorecard is calculated on a number of measures including whether an area has priority bus lanes, protected cycle lanes, school street restrictions, controlled parking zones, and 20mph zones.
One standout fact reported is that the only school street restriction in Hillingdon operates outside Highfield Primary School, Charville Lane. There are over one hundred schools in Hillingdon.
In nearby Ealing, 36% of schools now have a school street restriction in place.
