We are delighted to announce that Janet Flemming has been named as one of Cycling UK’s 100 Women in Cycling.
Janet is a volunteer coach for the Field End Flyers, and is the coaching co-ordinator at Harrow Cycle Hub. She recently gave a very insightful presentation about the work of the hub at Cycling Hillingdon’s October monthly meeting.

Janet is a Breeze and Guided Rides Leader, a Level 2 British Cycling Coach and an all-round amazing person. She has taught so many people to ride a bike, coordinated other coaches to volunteer, encouraged people to come out on led rides and worked tirelessly to enable new groups of people to cycle, such as carers and GP patients wanting to improve their health.
One of Harrow Cycle Hub’s NHS partners, Rashida Rahman, Harrow Cardio, Renal and Metabolic Programme Manager commented:“Janet and her team have been an absolute delight to work with”
Her students say:“Janet is an absolute gem. It’s her patience and calm demeanour that made me learn in the end”
