Cycling and community groups in Hillingdon may be interested in some grants which are currently available for a wide range of projects aiming to increase the number and range of people cycling.
Share the Joy
Share The Joy is a Community Cycling Fund. The partnership initiative from LCC and Lime with support from LOUD Mobility awards grants to projects that help encourage more people to cycle.
If you’re a London-based community group you can submit your application when the funding window opens on the 10th October. Funding is awarded four times a year to cover core costs, project costs, or new equipment. The average grant awarded is £2,500 but exceptional cases and brilliant ideas will receive more, so don’t hold back when applying!
Applications close on 10th November.
Active Travel Innovation Fund
Last week, Active Travel England (ATE) announced the launch of a £1m Active Travel Innovation Fund offering individual grants of up to £100,000 to develop, deliver and/or scale bold and creative active travel interventions aimed at increasing levels of walking, wheeling and cycling in England.
The window for applications runs from 6 October to 14 November.
